Buyer Guide
This guide is for buyer accounts purchasing research products through the BioTide wholesale portal at your negotiated account pricing.

Buyer accounts use the portal paths beginning with /portal/. Your prices are set by your sales organization — you do not configure markup or discounts yourself.
Browsing the wholesale catalog
Open the catalog
- Sign in to the wholesale portal.
- Click Catalog in the top bar (or Shop the Catalog from your Dashboard).
You will see the BioTide Research Catalog: a grid of products with photos, descriptions, and your account price on each card.
Understanding your price
- The price shown on each product is your final wholesale price for that item.
- Prices are account-specific — they reflect your relationship with your rep and sales organization.
- You do not need to calculate markups. The amount on the card is what the platform uses when you add the item to your cart (final totals are confirmed at checkout).
If you see a compare-at or reference price, treat the main bold price as what you pay.
Browse by category
Use the tabs above the grid (All, Vials, Capsules, Nasal sprays, Cosmetics, and others) to filter products.
Product details and quality indicators
Click a product to open its detail view. On catalog cards you may also see:

| CoA Pending | Analysis documentation is not yet published for that SKU. |
| Purity chip (flask icon) | Latest verified purity when a certificate is available. |

FDA disclosure and Research Use Only (RUO) labeling
BioTide products are sold for laboratory research use only. When you shop, keep the following in mind:
Research Use Only (RUO)
- Every product in the research catalog is intended for in-vitro research by qualified professionals and compliant institutions.
- Products are not for human or animal consumption, injection, inhalation, or any in-vivo use.
- Catalog and marketing materials may reference RUO or Research Use Only — this is your reminder that handling, storage, and disposal must follow your institution’s research protocols.
FDA disclosure
- These products are not drugs, dietary supplements, cosmetics for consumer use, or medical devices.
- They have not been evaluated, approved, or cleared by the U.S. FDA.
- Nothing on the site is intended to diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent any disease or condition.
Before you order
- Confirm your institution permits the purchase and use of research materials.
- Review lot documentation (CoA Verified badges link to batch information where available).
- For regulatory reference materials, ask your sales representative or organization contact for access to compliance resources.
If you have questions about whether a SKU fits your protocol, contact your BioTide representative before ordering.
Using the cart
The cart opens as a side panel titled Your Cart. Click the cart icon in the top-right header anytime.

Each line shows the product name, unit price, and quantity. Totals should match catalog prices; volume discounts may appear as separate lines when your account qualifies.
Bacteriostatic water reminder
If your cart contains lyophilized vials, you may see a prompt to add Bacteriostatic Water for reconstitution. You can add it directly from that section.
Rep or VIP discount codes
If your representative gave you a coupon code from Deal Maker, enter it in the cart’s coupon field before checkout. The updated total will show after the code is applied.
Checkout
- From the cart, proceed to checkout (or open Catalog and use the checkout path when your cart is ready).
- Confirm billing and address details as prompted.
- Review line items on the summary screen. Product subtotals, taxes, and any discounts that apply to your account appear as separate lines when relevant.
- Confirm the order total shown before payment.
- Complete payment using the card option presented for your account.
- After success, view confirmation details and find the order later under Orders.
TIP
Only buyer accounts can complete wholesale checkout. If you are redirected away from checkout, confirm you are signed in with the email and password you used when you registered.
After you order
- Orders lists order history, status, and details for reordering reference.
- Clinical tools offers calculators for dosing and related research utilities (optional).
- For batch verification, use the public CoA Lookup tools linked from product cards when available.
