Growing your network
Invite managers, sales organizations, and reps
- Open your Dashboard.
- Click the blue Invite Member button (you can also open My Network → Invite members from the top navigation).
- In the Invite Team Member window, choose an Invitee type:
- Sales Organization — for a partner org or manager-level account in your territory.
- Sales Rep — for an individual representative who will serve buyers.
- Buyer — for a wholesale buyer account you want under your network.
- Enter the Target Name (for example, the buyer or organization name).
- (Optional) Enter Organizational Markup % (Optional) if you want to lock in your margin up front. Use
0or leave the default when you prefer to set pricing later in Profile settings or per-account tools. - Click Generate link, then copy and send the invite link to your contact.
- They complete registration through the link and are attached to your organization automatically.
Share the role-specific registration walkthrough with your contact if they ask what to expect on each screen:
See also Onboarding & Sign-Up for invite URLs and troubleshooting.
Organizational Markup on invites (optional)
When you generate an invite, you can set an Organizational Markup % (Optional) before you click Generate link.
| What it does for you | What the onboardee sees |
|---|---|
| Applies your chosen markup percentage as soon as the new account finishes registration, so their catalog prices reflect your margin without extra setup steps later. | Nothing. The percentage is not shown anywhere on the registration screens, in welcome copy, or in their account after sign-up. |
When to use it
- Use a markup % when you already know the margin you want on that buyer or sub-org (for example, a standard territory rate).
- Leave it at 0 when you plan to adjust pricing later through Profile settings, Master Catalog Pricing, or your team’s usual account setup workflow.
Important
- The markup applies to the invite you are creating at that moment. If you need a different percentage for a different contact, generate a new invite with the updated value.
- This field works together with your normal org markup rules; it is a convenience for onboarding, not a replacement for your overall pricing policy.
TIP
Keep invite links private. Each link is created for a specific name and role. If you need a different role, generate a new link.
Track invites and your roster
- My Network → Downline roster shows everyone in your tree.
- My Network → Team hierarchy lets you view reps and adjust commission percentages where your permissions allow.
- Your Dashboard also surfaces recent activity and shortcuts to invite more members.
Deal Maker — VIP discounts for clinics
Deal Maker is for discount codes, not for inviting new users. Use it when you want to give a specific clinic a one-time VIP percentage off their order.
- Go to Deal Center → Deal Maker.
- Search for and select the Clinic that should receive the offer.
- Enter a Discount Percentage within your organization’s allowed cap (shown on the page).
- Submit the form and copy the generated coupon code for your clinic contact.
- The clinic can apply that code in their cart before checkout.
Your Representative coupon policy in Profile settings sets the default maximum discount any rep or manager in your org may issue through Deal Maker. You can also set per-rep limits on the Team hierarchy page.
Profile settings — pricing and bulk discounts
Open Account → Profile settings to control how your organization prices above the BioTide wholesale floor.
Global markup
The Global markup card controls your profit margin above the protected wholesale floor:
- Use the Markup (%) slider or enter an exact percentage.
- Click Save settings at the bottom of the page.
What you should know:
- BioTide maintains a wholesale floor for every product. You never need to calculate cost layers manually — the platform applies your markup on top of that floor.
- Your downline sees pricing that respects your rules and any catalog overrides you set on Catalog (Master Catalog Pricing).
- Deal Maker discounts and rep coupon limits cannot exceed the policies you define here.
Automated bulk discounts
Two related settings reward clinics when they order in volume:
| Setting | What it does |
|---|---|
| VIP bulk threshold | Number of units in a cart that triggers the VIP bulk experience for your clinics. |
| Automated bulk discount | Percentage discount applied when a clinic reaches that threshold (taken from your markup layer). |
If BioTide has published a maximum bulk threshold for your tier, the settings page shows the highest value you may enter. Stay within that limit and save.
Secure payout details
In the same settings area, add Secure Payout Details so BioTide can remit your organization’s earned commissions:
- ACH / Wire Transfer — bank name, account number, and routing number.
- Mailed Check — payee name and mailing address.
Complete this section if you see a reminder to finish your organization profile. Your finance team can view payout status on the Commission ledger.
Master Catalog Pricing (optional)
Catalog in the top navigation opens Master Catalog Pricing, where you can set organization-wide or per-clinic prices for SKUs in your territory. Standard retail and custom clinic rates are managed in one place; the platform enforces your wholesale floor so you cannot price below your allowed minimum.
