Sign Up as a Sales Rep
This guide walks through the Sales Rep registration wizard—the form you complete when a sales organization invites you to join their territory as a representative on BioTide.
Before you start: Open the invite link from your sales organization. You cannot create a rep account without it.

What this account is for
A Sales Rep account lets you manage buyers in your book, track commissions, invite new clinics, and use sales tools in the rep portal (paths starting with /sales-rep/).
The welcome screen
When your invite is valid, you will see:
- Welcome to BioTide — confirms you are joining as a Sales Rep.
- The registration wizard (two steps).
Step 1 of 2 — Personal & Payout
Header: Personal & Payout — Contact details and the tax ID we'll use for your 1099 commission payouts.

Click Next when Step 1 is complete.
Step 2 of 2 — Account & Legal
Header: Account & Legal — Create a password and confirm your contractor agreement.

Independent Contractor Agreement
You must accept the checkbox to continue. It confirms that you:
- Agree to BioTide’s Independent Contractor Agreement (linked from the form).
- Understand you are a 1099 contractor, not an employee.
- Are responsible for your own federal, state, and local taxes on commission earnings.
Click Complete Registration. The button shows Creating your account… while processing.
After you finish
- A success message welcomes you to the BioTide sales team and sends you to your dashboard.
- You are redirected to the rep dashboard (
/sales-rep/dashboard) already signed in. - For inviting buyers, commissions, and payouts, use the Sales Rep Guide.
Sign in later: Use the email from Step 1 and your password on wholesale.biotideusa.com.
Tips
- Use the legal name that matches your tax ID for Step 1.
- Keep your SSN or Tax ID accurate—payouts and 1099s depend on it.
- If you are unsure about contractor status, review the linked agreement before checking the box.
- Wrong role on the welcome screen? Your org may have sent the wrong invite type—ask them to generate a Sales Rep link.
